Sip fine wine and savor tasty treats at the Grape Escape! This year, the annual fundraiser for the Issaquah Rotary Foundation will be held on March 2nd at Issaquah’s Pickering Barn. From 6 p.m. – 9 p.m., you and your polished friends are invited to sample the wines of 17 local wineries, try goodies from 9 Issaquah restaurants, delight in spirits from local distilleries among other things. We are happy to announce that, once again, we will be there to implore you and your palate!
As follows custom, there will be opportunities to bid during the silent auction on items ranging from wine bottles to enthusing excursions. The purchasing of wine and spirits will also ensue (no sales tax is charged as it is a fundraiser for a non-profit). What’s more, this year promises heightened entertainment! While you and other wine connoisseurs make your way through the evening’s affairs, an illusionist/mentalist extraordinaire will be performing his crafty tricks. Greek Goddess Ariadne, the wife of Dionysus (God of Wine) will be making mesmerizing reappearances throughout the night as well.
It is our continued pleasure to be an active member in the community by supporting local organizations. We fully support the Rotary Club as they seek to improve the lives of others through educational, intercultural, and humanitarian activities. We hope to see you at this year’s Grape Escape to ultimately bring in more support for the Issaquah Rotary Club. It is highly anticipated that you and others alike will have a lot to drink in.
