The Washington strawberry season is just about to get underway, and we’ll be featuring local strawberries from Picha farms in our menu starting Wednesday! We’re so excited!
Picha farms is family run by third generation farmers Dan and Russ Picha and have been growing quality produce for South Sound communities since 1994. The Picha Family promises its strawberries, raspberries and blackberries are some of the best, if not THE best, you’ve ever tasted.
Once ripened to perfection, Picha berries are hand-picked daily during the cool, early morning hours—weather permitting—and individually inspected to ensure that they’re the freshest, highest quality product possible.
We’ll be using Picha Farm strawberries in quite a few of our menu items including Strawberry French Toast, Strawberry Balsamic Salad, and Strawberry Angel Cake Sunday!
