All for the Honey!

Did you know that honeybees are the key to food security? It’s true! They’re essential in the pollination of many of the fruits and vegetables that we consume daily like brocolli, apples, lemon, watermelon, onions and more.

Unfortunately, the honeybee population has been declining in recent years, enough to make the authorities — and celebrities — worry. Actor Morgan Freeman even converted his 124-acre ranch into a honeybee refuge to help save the bee population. We truly applaud his efforts for this cause.

On our part, we’ve already started raising honeybees on our roofotop. It may not be 124 acres but it helps the cause and it brings honey to the table through delicious dishes prepared by our chefs. One such dish is the Macadamia Nut Baked Brie with Wildfin Rooftop Honey, Washington Apples, Grapes and Balsamic which we introduced last year. This is a very special dish offered only for the next 30-45 days until our honey supply lasts.

We also have some new honey-inspired dishes for this season. For vegans, we have the Roasted Brussel Sprouts with Honey Lime. Seafood lovers will enjoy the Alaskan Salmon and Halibut Himalayan Salt Block Seared with honey Lime Glaze. We also updated our Double Dipped Fried Chicken with honey to make it more tasty. Finally, we have Honey Maple Butter for the cornbread side and for the brunch scones.
