WildFin is proud to be part of the Zoo Society’s annual gala, Zoobilee. The event will be held Friday, July 28th, 2017 from 6pm at the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium.
Guests will be washed ashore as “Castaways” and come together to experience entertainment, up-close animal encounters, and selection of signature appetizers prepared by local restaurants.
All proceeds will benefit the Zoo Society, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing financial and in-kind resources for the Zoo’s recreation, education, and conservative programs, its animal collections, and its permanent and temporary exhibitions.
Zoobilee 2016 raised more than $379,000.
Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium is located on 29 acres within Tacoma’s Point Defiance Park. The Zoo is a national leader in endangered species breeding and reintroduction efforts and is a fully accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). It is the only combined zoo and aquarium in the Northwest, with annual attendance of more than 700,000 visitors.
